Ours country Bangladesh is filled with rivers, hills and huge natural beauties. People of this land are kind, generous and hospitable. Though all these wonderfully acclaimed qualities and resources, we have to deal with lot of challenges everyday. Getting a blood donor at the right time is one of them. Despite over-populated, we have insufficient blood donor. We cannot mange blood when it is required. Consequently, we loose a worthy human life. In order to meet this challenge, we the some people formed an organization named “Kanika – A Blood Donor Organization” in 2011. Since then we are working relentlessly to create awareness, to eradicate fear and prejudice, and to spread encouragement among people regarding blood donor and donation. While doing all these, we have got active and cordial support from all walks of life including students, various private and public officials, business institutions, different government bodies etc. We humbly urge everyone to continue their help until we can make sure the availability of blood donor and people fully aware of blood donation.
